Basic prices without supervision include delivery, installation and pick up of the equipment. The set up of the inflatable equipment is always completed prior to the booking time commencing.

You need to apply to the Council for a permit to have a party in the park. Other things to consider are if there is access to electricity in the park. If not, we can supply a generator to power the amusement (at a cost).

Ensure you check the castle your booking to make sure you have the space for it, allow a metre of free space around the castle..

Access ways need to allow for at least 1m of space, and for the larger Combo style castle at least 1.5meters of horizontal space is needed.

If there are steps you will need to notify us when making the booking as the jumping castles weigh between 100kg and 180kg and it is difficult to manoeuvre up and down steps. As a general rule:

  • If there are more than 5 steps there needs to be someone on site that can help manoeuvre the jumping castle.
  • If there are more steps please let us know when making your booking

 

It takes around 10-15 mins to set up the jumping castle depending on the type of access.

It takes around 20 mins to dismantle the jumping castle.

The jumping castle will be set up and dismantled by Wollongong Castle World staff .

NO, please do not attempt to move the jumping castle once set up due to safety requirements. “Penalties may apply if castle is moved.”.

No, our staff will set up the castle before the requested hire time starts and it will be taken down after the requested hire time concludes. We do request that there is clear access and there is room to manoeuvre the jumping castle to the set up area.

Our minimum hire time is 4 hours and we have two set options, 4hr hire or 7hr hire. If you need a different hire period please contact us to discuss your requirements.

  • From the start of November until the end of March 7pm.
  • From the start of April until the end of October 5pm.

Yes. For the safety of the children using the jumping castle, a responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise at all times. Operating instructions for the jumping castle on the day of the hire.

  • By cheque at least 7 days before the booking date
  • Cash on delivery

Personal cheques will not be accepted within 7 days of the booking.
We DO accept CASH payment to the driver on the day of the hire.

Yes, Wollongong Castle World carries 10 million dollar Public liability Insurance. Please let us know if you require a copy of the certificate of currency.

Yes. The weight limit varies depending on the size of the castle, but generally it is 450kg for the ‘jump’ style and 600kg for the ‘club’ and ‘combo’ styles.

In the event of strong wind or rain, Wollongong Castle World reserves the right to cancel a booking if we feel safety will be compromised. In this case Wollongong Castle World will contact you to discuss the matter.

“ There is no cancellation fee. If the weather is deemed unsafe to continue your booking we reserve the right to cancel any booking.”

The jumping castle can go on grass, dirt, concrete, paving or asphalt as long as the area is flat, and there are no ridges (i.e between a change of surface). Please inform us if the jumping castle will be erected on a surface that does not allow for pegs to be used (i.e asphalt, concrete, paving).

No, this is not possible however if it is a very slight slope it may be ok, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking.

No, the jumping castle must be at least 0.5 meter away from any object. If the jumping castle is in contact with any object it may cause the jumping castle to suffer abrasion damage. Also there may be a safety issue if the children on the castle make contact with the object.

If the damage is considered to be malicious then you will be liable for the full cost of repairs, transport costs associated with the repairs and loss of business costs while the castle is repaired. We keep a record of the condition of our castles and would advise you to check the jumping castle before the delivery person leaves, and note any problems.

Please be aware that streamers, poppers, silly string, face paint, chewing gum, food and drink MUST be kept away from the jumping castle at all times. If the above-mentioned items are in contact with the jumping castle and it has been damaged it will be consider malicious and you will be liable for the full cost of repairs, transport costs associated with the repairs and loss of business costs while the castle is repaired.
